GOALS Cadets:
Summer of Service
Improving Communities
GOALS aims to create team oriented, free, long term social development opportunities for low income youth in areas of high need.

GOALS Cadets first launched in the summer of 2003. This free “Summer of Service” program combines elements of education, job training, personal fitness and community service to not only help beautify our communities but to help others in need. The program is open to participants in junior high and high school who have an exemplary record to date. GOALS programs are typically targeted in specific school sites and areas of high need, however, GOALS Cadets "Summer of Service" is open to any youth interested in helping with service projects that beautify the communities around us throughout the summer.

GOALS has a long prized service to help others as a principal focus to encourage both personal and civic improvement, as well as aiding in the prevention of summer learning loss. GOALS Cadets "Summer of Service" is the largest and most sustained service module of GOALS annually.

GOALS Cadets "Summer of Service" is an 8 week program from mid-June to mid-August 8:00am-12:00pm. Projects include beautifying urban areas through city pride, mentor elementary aged students, assist in activities for Individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, packing food for low income communities and much, much more!
